One of the newest restaurant in the city and offers eat all you can - Gely's Restaurant located a few meters from San Sebastian College Recoletos de Cavite.
This is the only open type huge resto in the city with kubo themed. You won't get worried of being amoy ulam after eating and it also has a tv in the center to keep you entertained while waiting for your order.
Since it's Father's Day last Sunday we decided to dine out and try this resto at last after asking first some friends if the food here is okay.
Sizzling Tofu - P150
Loved this dish. Flavor is just perfect not sweet nor salty just perfect.
Chili Dynamite - P120
Yummy and has the perfect crunch and spiciness in every bite.
Fried Chicken - P150
The chicken is well marinated before it was breaded and fried thus it was flavorful.
The gravy is yummy and well flavored.
What is nice in this resto is it has paluto. You can choose the seafood you want in their list and they will cooked it based on your request. We are debating if we will have it grilled or sinigang and ended up with sinigang para may sabaw :D
Sinigang na Tuna Belly - P400
Perfect amount of asim and has 4 large tuna belly chunks.
Cucumber Iced Tea - P35
A refreshing and yummy drink to try than the plain and typical iced tea. Love it!
Overall food is great. Service is great as well considering there is only one waiter !!! The guy is so attentive that after taking orders he immediately brings the dining plates and utensils then the drinks. Orders didn't take that long to be served as well. After customers leaves he is quick in cleaning the empty table in just few minutes. The place is not full-packed when we dine since this resto is not really well known yet but definitely has a huge potential just more marketing efforts and worth of mouth.
