The last time this blog had a resto review was last August 2019 then pandemic came early quarter 2020 so despite discovering many new small food shops around the city never really went out to try for fear of the virus.

This food shop came up via browsing for new city food shops with FB page few weeks ago. Been trying to add and update the master list of Cavite City food delivery services. Madami na ding nawala pero mas madami ang bagong food shops. Upon browsing their menu surprised to see it has an impressive wide international food choices offered. This food haven is way in a different level from all the food shops in the city. May ganito pala sa  Cavite City WOW !  The co-owner Ms. Andrea pm-ed us and was so kind to offer some of their best sellers to try as token of appreciation for including them on the list. Two days after they generously send ...

Wow itsura pa lang mukhang yummy na lahat.

Laksa - P99
Been craving for this Singaporean for a long time so this was definitely the first na titikman.
Tastewise - super yummy. The flavors are a perfection. Must Try !
Imagine may laksa pala sa Cavite City di na kailangan lumayo

Nasi Goreng - P89
The last time we had eaten this Indonesian dish was in Legazpi Sunday market pa ! And guess what ?
Ang Sarap ! After tasting 2 dishes feeling nasa Legazpi Sunday market kahit nasa bahay lang naman.

TBH Chicken Wings Salted Egg Platter - P149
So far among the wings we tried around the city this one is definitely included among the top list.

Breakfast Burrito - P99
Super yummy burrito perfect for not only breakfast pwede din full lunch.
It has hash brown, bacon, sausage, cheese and the yummy special sauce.
Perfect combination. A Must Try!

Dalgona Coffee - P89
Syempre kumpleto pati drink included. Dalgona will always be remembered as the popular drink during pandemic.
And the verdict this is the most delicious cold drink tasted in the city so far. Walang halong biro.
Pang high end ang level ng taste. SUPER SARAP !!!!!!

Overall, the entire food spread send gave this de javu feeling that we were eating in Legazpi Sunday market. One do not need to go to Makati when you can enjoy eating foods with same in quality at a more affortable price not from various food stalls but just from even just one small food shop which is named - The Breakfast Haven.

The Menu

If you will look at their menu you can see the various food choices from different countries around the world. Can't wait to try the others listed in the menu. And guess what they continue to add other new international dishes so better check their FB page from time to time.

I just pick up this photos in their FB page so we both get a glimpse of how the food haven looks like.

Hopefully after pandemic ends would love to visit this resto personally for a dine in yummy experience. So far this is one of our highest food shop review to date based on wide array of yummy taste, value for money and service.

Did not went physically in the resto so ratings will be minus the ambience.

Mang John's Tapsihan

Resto Name: Mang John's Tapsihan
Location: 885 P.Burgos Ave. San Roque, Cavite City 4100
Type:  Filipino
Average Price Per Dish: P100-P150

The newest resto in town just a few meters away from the famous Lydias, Asao and Chefoo.

The menu

Sizzling Sisig with Rice - P100
The sizzling was served in a not so hot sizzling plate so the egg did not cooked well. We ended up asking for the plate to be reheated again.

The sisig is is a bit sweet. No calamansi was given. The taste is okay.

Sizzling Liempo with Rice - P100
The pork cut is a bit think and not to presentable but its soft and the taste is yummy.

Sizzling Tofu - P100
Not really sure if they serve this without mayonnaise but we ask for some to be placed upon.
This is the yummiest sizzling tofu in the city for now.

Sinigang na Hipon - P150
This was a runaway winner with itsperfect sourness and thick broth. Sulit for the price.

Pansate - P60
This taste yummy and best paired with pandesal.

No wonder this small resto is always jam packed now with people and the good news is its 24/7.
Although its a bit hot inside and its better if the electric fans are revolving than steady but the yummy taste is what it is being attracted upon. Service is a bit slow. Wish the staff will be trained better.

Nikko's Carwash At Tapsihan

Resto Name: Nikko's Carwash At Tapsihan
Location: 601 Capt. Villareal St. Caridad Cavite City, Cavite City
Type:  Filipino
Average Price Per Dish: P50-P100

Who would ever thought of a car wash and an eatery combined.

This is small resto beside a famous carwash in the city which was the main business of the owner at capt. villareal.

The area is relatively small.

The MENU

Additional new menu

Nachos - P80
For its price this is one of the cheapest yet yummy nachos in the city.

The nachos has jalapeno and cheese sauce.

Chicken Sandwich - P50
Ordinary chicken sandwich with tomatoes and cucumber

Crispy Pork Kare-Kare Meal - P120

It took a while before this order was served even there is barely anyone eating when we arrive meaning it was freshly prepared. The sauce is peanutty but a bit bland in taste but it was perfect when paired with the bagoong.

The kare-kare comes with free big mug of iced tea

We also had some takeout

Bangusilog - P130
The bangus serving is huge and definitely worth the price.

Tacos - P50
Two pieces for P50

Overall this small resto is worth a visit and try.

Hattdy's Kitchen

Resto Name: Hattdy's Kitchen
Location: Padre Pio St. Caridad, Cavite City 4100
Type:  Filipino
Average Price Per Dish: P20-P25

This small meryendahan was established in 1990 as a typical meryendahan sa kanto with kaldero and little mesa. A few years ago it was expanded to a mini eatery still serving but this time almost 40 types of meryenda.

Saan aabot ang twenty pesos mo ???

Pansit Puso - P20 per order

Pansit Pusit - P25 per order

Pansit Malabon con Sarsa - P20 per order

Pancit Canton - P20

Lumpiang Prito - 3 for P20

Ginatan Totong - P20

Ginatan Mais - P20

Ginataan Sari Sari - P20

Ginatan Dila Dila - P25

This is the only cheapest seller of meryenda daily except Sundays with almost all variety in the entire city. Taste is okay for its price but do not expect super sarap but nakakabusog sa halagang twenty pesos. Imagine P20 sa panahong ito. Be sure to visit them as early as twelve noon since the servings is only until supplies last. Usually they ran out as early as 4 pm during peak days.

They also accept orders by bilao. If you have events and parties you can check their FB page, call and pick it up your order.
