Location: Robinson's Gen. Trias
Type: American and Filipino
Average Price Per Dish: P100-P400
After coming from Tagaytay decided to drop by at Robinson's Gen. Trias for quick lunch. Settled for an unfamiliar resto to dine that obviously offers chicken and pork by its name.
There was this lady seated near the door who immediately approached me as I was searching the displayed menu outside that incidentally has a lot of erased food the offer lol She described the specialty they have until I finally decided to enter the resto.
The logo looks cartoonish but the design of the menu inside is not. I won't be surprised if this is the very first branch of this resto.
This is what I ordered - lovely drink isn't it?
Large Chick and Rice - P139
The chicken is flattened and deep fried. Surprisingly it was very tasty and yummy. I'm clueless to the spices it was marinated at but its very very flavorful. Add the mango and lime dip I chose among the four sauce choices and it was a winner. Chickens are always served with either gravy or catsup but this mango and lime dip with a hind of spiciness gave it a very amazing flavor. Runaway winner *thumbs up*
Autumn Sunset - P49
Its a joy looking merely at this colorful orange layered drink and heavenly feeling drinking it. This is so yummy. Silly as it sound but its my very first time being so happy drinking a drink. Imagine at P49 pesos you get this while in other resto 60-90 pesos and its juts powdered iced or fruit drink. Too bad I forgot to write down the 4 ingredients it contains as written in the menu. The only two I can remember is grenadine and orange.
The only thing I didn't like in this resto is the ambience and interiors. It's too dull and dark inside even they have a radio playing. Nevertheless I will definitely comeback and try their chops topped with cheese next time.
