I sneak out of Blogapalooza to eat lunch at MOA. After roaming around almost all resto are fully packed since there is also an engineering event in SMX. This is the only resto that is not full of customers so finally thought to give it a try.
The resto's color plays around green, red and white as of the Italy's flag. Gotti’s Ristorante was named after last American-Italian mafia icon John Gotti, goes with the tagline, “Italy’s Most Wanted”, as most mafia leaders are.
Cute menu that serves mainly pasta and pizzas.
Siciliana (small) - P145
Fried eggplant in classic bolognese sauce pasta. The eggplants are yummy and perfectly cooked. And pasta is al dente.
Lemonade - P 75
Too much ice but yummy.
The lemonade came more than 5 minutes after the pasta as served. They forgot the drink if di ko pa pinaalala considering only few tables are occupied.
I was supposed to order iced tea but the only drei available is lemonade. While waiting I noticed a bunch of not so good looking lemons at the counter. Maybe they are trying to deplete the stocks. I hate restaurants that when you order will always tell you it is not available.
Overall, this resto is worth a try if you want a quick Italian fix.
