Ginataang Hipon is a Filipino dish that consisting of shrimps cooked in coconut milk.
One of my all time fave shrimp dishes although not necessarily a Caviteñean dish.I just loved the blend of thick sauce from the coconut milk and meat of the shrimp combined.
Ingredients:
shrimps
coconut milk
bouillon cube
chili sauce or pepper to taste
Procedure:
Pour coconut milk and let it simmer for a very low heat.When it starts to boil, mix in the shrimp. Stir it constantly. Season it with bouillon cube and pepper.Let it simmer until the sauce has thickened up.
