Chicken Stix

Chicken sticks are commonly grilled in hot coal like pork bbq but do you know you can also fry it and make it look as if it was grilled.

Ingredients:
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 tbsps honey or a dash of sugar
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp sesame seeds
dash of hot sauce (optional)

3 boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
bamboo skewers (soaked in water several hours)
banana ketchup
oil


Procedures:
Slice the chicken breast into 1/4-inch thick pieces. Skewer the chicken slices onto the bamboo sticks and place into a zip-type bag. Combine the first 3 ingredients in a bowl and stir well. Pour the marinade into the bag and place in refrigerator overnight.

Remove the chicken skewers from the bag. Add little banana ketchup to the remaining marinade and mix. Heat oil in a large non stick pan and fry the chicken over medium heat until cooked on both sides while basting occasionally with the sauce.
