BENI's Falafel

Resto Name: Beni's Falafel
Location: Mall of Asia
Type:  Greek
Average Price Per Dish: P250-P350

Wanted to eat something healthy in a not so crowded so ended up in this very small resto.

There are only two table occupied when I arrived. One with a lady and the other with who guys.

Ordered what exactly the resto is named since it is their specialty for sure.

5 Falafel Balls with Beni's Rice - P145
It looks like meatballs but falafels are peas minced with spices like cumin, coriander and garlic, then fried. The dish is yummy but a bit nakakaumay. Good thing I ordered salad which somewhat balanced the uta.

Chopped Salad - P30
The salad is refreshing and perfect pair for the falafel balls.

Creamy White Dressing, and Super Spicy Sauce
This balanced the taste of the falafel balls so much. I think I almost squeezed half of the yummy creamy white dressing.

This resto is for a niche market. Majority would not be willing to pay for chickpea balls as viand for lunch but definitely this is worth a try for foodies who loves tasting different kind of foods.

Viaje Feliz: Lasa ng Republika 2 was conceptualized to sustain interest in the CALAX project by introducing some of the more notable foodie destinations in Cavite.

But what is CALAX ? Watch this video

CALAX will ease travel through the fast-growing areas of Kawit, Imus, General Trias, Dasmarinas, and Silang in Cavite, as well as Sta. Rosa and Biñan in Laguna, and will also provide a new corridor for a safe and reliable commute through Southern Tagalog. The P34.5-billion CALAX will start from Cavitex in Kawit, Cavite and end at the SLEx-Mamplasan Interchange in Biñan, Laguna. With eight interchanges and one main barrier, it will consist of a 45-km long four-lane expressway between these two points through congested residential and industrial areas in Kawit, Imus, General Trias, Dasmarinas, and Silang in Cavite, and finally to Sta. Rosa and Biñan in Laguna.

With an expected completion date of 2020, an estimated 5,000 jobs will be created during the construction phase of CALAX. Employment will be generated, not only by those who will design, build and operate the facility, but also through the creation of other jobs and economic opportunities for those who invest, work, live or commute within the Cavite-Laguna corridor.

Big Ben's sukang sasa is super sarap - MUST TRY !!!

Aguinaldo Shrine was chosen as the event venue, not merely for its significance in our history, but because it is also the mid-point between CAVITEX and CALAX.

Thank you Aguinaldo Shrine for being the venue again of another eventful Cavite food adventure. GRACIAS Sir Ige Ramos :)
