Cordon Bleu

Here's one of our favorite homemade delicious recipe that can be served on fiesta, christmas and holidays.

Cordon Bleu is a breaded cutlet dish of meat pounded thin and wrapped around a slice of and a slice of cheese, breaded, and then pan fried or baked.

Ingredients:
5 pieces chicken breast, deboned
salt and pepper
5 pieces sweet ham
5 pieces cheese slices
1 egg, beaten
flour
japanese bread crumbs

Procedure:
Pound chicken breast to 1/4 inch thickness. Season each breast with salt and pepper. Place one slice of ham and a sliced cheese on each breast. Roll the breast up and secure with a tooth pick. Coat each in flour then dip in egg and coat in bread crumbs. Place each roll in a lightly greased baking dish. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes or deep fry until golden brown.
